i didn't wear a helmet for a little while because it looked so dorky, but someone cut me off forcing me onto the sidewalk and tumbling off my bike.
that quickly cured my of my stupid desire to look cool...i don't even ride the quarter mile to the supermarket with a helmet now.
Here's a hint: If you're an adult on a bike, you don't look cool. Might as well be safe.
