I am a machinist at a small company 8 miles on my odo from my house. I usually just park it by my big mitsubishi (about 25 ft.x15ft.x 30 ft. ) horizontal mill and dont have to lock it. But last week I had to leave it to go to an AA meeting and I locked it with a chain with 3/8 links to an Ibeam by my machine. .. I dont want any Yahoos jacking with my baby.
Most folks dont know how to ride a bicycle. They think weight lifting when they should be thinking swimming. if that makes any sense.
