Sold my Paramount
1989 Paramount OS. It wasn't the first nice bike I had, but it was the first top of the line bike I bought as an Adult.
I'm sure in future years, I'll remember the bike a lot more than the money I got from selling it, and wish I still had the bike more than them oney which will long be gone.
However, as it set in the Garage, rarely ridden, it was going to deteriorate, and if I rode it I would beat it up and it's value would drop.
So the rational decision had to be to sell it to someone who would use it and enjoy it.
In 20 more years, when the Paramount OS is old enough to be truely vintage, and recognized, as 1) the best Paramount ever made, and 2) a major innovation in bicycle design, I'll be kiciking myself.
