So, did the police give you confidence that once you get the info on the report, you'll be good to claim against the guy? Sounds like a lawyer would be salivating over this one if there are hospital bills/injuries to be covered -- I'd have thought that the driver of the car would ultimately be best served by his insurance company settling now rather than risk this going longer and potentially more expensive.
