You know, I'd ask and see if I could park it inside. My bias is to keep my precious ride out of the weather and away from as many 'strangers' as possible.. Generally co-workers are less likely to mess with the bike.

Some folks live by the credo that it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission... You can go that route, too.
