Their lenses can withstand a blast from a 12 guage at 15 yards. Yeah...they're some pretty strong lenses...if you do scartch them they're still effective, just not as stylish. I have a pair of safety goggles at work, they're spec'ed to ANSI standards for impact, shatter, and penetration resistance. They block UVA,B,C. The temples adjust to my face. They're like sports shields, full coverage. $20.
Then again, I also have a pair of rudy project ketyum's that fit and vent better than every pair of ill fitting overpriced oakley's I saw at the store.
