I'm working on a rattle can project myself... My autoparts stores didn't have the color I wanted (green), so I ended up using Rustoleum Enamel from Home Depot. I have a couple more coats to go, but it looks pretty good, and seems sturdy enough. When I'm done, I think I'll see about taking it to an autobody shop to get it clearcoated on the cheap...
