Mr. Schmidt left a message on the CR list, as I suspected it was a money thing, not many, one!? actually put their money down, and two other's "signed up" but no money yet.

Perhaps a sign of the times? Or just "if I can make it, I will bring the cash then, if I cannot, then no problem, money was not out the door for something not attended"

Sounded a bit miffed, if one reads the undertone of the message, but Mr. Schmidt has done much for the hobby and crossed swords a few times too, perhaps the accounts are adjusting.
