(I did fix no-hands shimmy on one bike by taking the stem off the steer tube and putting it back on w/ greater attention)
Grrraaarg! Speed wobbles...

Without my h'bar bag or my U-lock strapped to the front rack, my Cross-Check has a wicked speed wobble from 17 - 19mph. The perfect cruising speed for riding no-hands on a long distance ride and having a stretch.

For general technique, I find that scooting to the back rail of the saddle and bringing my knees in a little bit (tighten up your grip on the nose of the saddle) help out. Sit as straight up as you can, and when you're getting started, don't push off the bars because that can initiate a wobble or put you off-tracking. Rest your hands on the hoods or the bar tops, release your grip, and just sit up without using your arms.
