This has definitely not been my experience. The lower-level staff seem friendly enough, but on two separate occasions I've talked with the supposedly experienced people only to get totally bogus advice. One "experienced" employee told me that there's no way I will ever get my SRAM Rival shifter correctly tuned to shift my Ultegra front derailleur. Hmmmm- I've been riding with perfect shifting for a few thousand miles now... WITHOUT their help!
