I hope you are joking, but, given the preponderance of illogical thinking shown in previous posts, I should point out that the audible warning required applies to one moving vehicle overtaking another moving vehicle. Absent that qualification, the poorly aimed codification would require you to ride past a line of parked vehicles barking like a dog in heat with each vehicle you passed.

I don't think even the narrow thinkers who wrote this rule intended that.
