I just attached a bell (the Japanese Sound Bell from velo-orange) to my handlebars. I had to use a #1 EMT conduit clamp. $2.50 for a bag of 5 at Home Depot. I made a nut for the metric thread on the bell by cutting down the clamp it came with.
