FSA carbon vs Dura Ace, Record... (cranksets)
Hello all,
I have been reading alot in the archives about the different types of cranksets that are avalable and have decided I want to go double, compact. I know the quality of dura ace and record, expecially the carbon models are really good.
My LSB is recomending FSA carbon compact double crank (in comparison to a standard double) because it is actually rideable in the mountians around where I live. They only have FSA in the compact crankset, comparing to dura ace and record in normal double configuration. The weight seems to be all about the same 500 - 550 grams in the crankset, 700 or so with the BB. The FSAs seem very durable also comparing to the others.
TO anyone who has riden the FSA cranks how are they for longevity, smoothness, shifting, etc? Also can they be used when I upgrade to 10 speed?
Thanks in advance
