I am running a 175 mm crankset now but a 180 mm on my mountian bike. I was really not thinking of this when I asked the question but it is a consideration. I choose dura ace, campy etc because they are really the other "high end" cranksets that I should compare. Ofcourse dura ace is not in compact which would be nice...
