I rode with LOOK pedals forever without issues. It is the only pedal I have used before the Aerolytes. I figured I give these a try for the weight saving only, and can tell you I a not only pleasantly surprised (I was very skeptic about them) but also very happy with them so far after 5 months of use. As far as the web space comments, I did not know it does not eat up more space. My apology. However, it does seem redundant to have pages and pages of the same pictures over and over to just say hot or not. Given the bikes posted in this thread so far, I think it would be much easier to just point out the ones that ARE NOT hot as the list would be much much smaller.
I've got a buddy who rode with a similar type pedal - the name of them escapes me at the moment. He's on my team and I've spent a lot of hours riding with him. His pedal stroke was real choppy and jerky. He's a really strong rider too. He just got some Keo Sprints and his pedaling has smoothed out tremendously. I think anything with a broader platform would've helped - he just happened to go with the Looks. Anyway, that was the sole reason for my observation. These pedals maybe different.
