Even the SS/FG forum frowns on doing anything irreparable to nice old frames. I'm all for people showing off their individuality through their bikes, or their cars, or their clothes, or their music.
Time to lighten up and realize the world is a whole lot bigger than the C & V forum. I know, it can be a scary thing, somebody not painstakingly restoring a Varsity to showroom quality but there are far more important things in life; like beer.
