Carbon Fiber is probably OK for you....But then again I'm just assuming a company like FSA wouldn't make junk that breaks.

Seriously for the money you will spend on those carbon fiber cranks you can get some Stronglight cranks that look beautiful....if It is any peace of mind the Stronglights are "alloy".

Just take a look at these beautiful Stronglight Z'light compacts.....I love the sculpted crankarms (Don't forget Pulsion also!).....I want them because they come in 180mm. P.S. Stronglight and FSA share the same 108mm ISIS BB....which is a bonus!
