Check/adjust front brakes - also helps you discover is a true is needed
Check/adjust headset
Check/adjust stem
Check/adjust brake levers/shifters
Pull out of the rack and adjust seat level and height.
If you follow this method every single time you will never get lost when working on a bike. Often, mechanics get pulled away from a job to do a "quick fix", when you go back to your repair/build it is easy to retrace your steps and get back to work.
