Kudos to Pete, thanks for the great ride. It was great to see familiar faces and to meet new people. That has to rank as my most difficult ascent so far. I must have stopped 10+ times before I reached the top. Thanks to Harold and Rob for waiting up for me before you guys descended. I was feeling so much like crap, it was great to ride down with somebody.

Oh, I almost took a spill too. I somehow ended up off roading on the ditch while descending. The only things I can think of was to stay upright, resist the urge to brake and somehow get back on the pavement without taking a spill. I have no idea how it happened but I did get back on the road safely. Man, someone must have been keeping an eye on me up "there".
