Most shops can get almost any bike, but if they are not a dealer or their distributor does not have a connection then it will cost you more. See what he stocks and ask him what other brands he has access to. Put the ball in his court. Don't educate him on what you are looking for initially. Hopefully he knows his stuff and can provide the right bike and service for you.
