I weigh 160 pounds and wear 33" pants. Size 4 Nalini bibs fit me great. Anyone who says size 5 fits a 30-32 inch waist is unreliable. If you have a 31" waist, size 3 might be OK for you if the big straps are stretchy enough to accommodate your height.
