As a motor official, Im really only looking out for guys who blatantly pull out across the line and move up to improve posistion. Avoiding a crash, riders on the ground or getting bumped out of line is not a reason to relegate. Although as a rider I have seen it happen.

If I had to pull up on every guy who crossed the center line for whatever reason, I'd end up getting killed myself. Except in the most blantant cases, a tap on the horn will do.

Depends on the ref. I think your more likely to find the ones who race themselves, like me, are a little more liberal about it than one's who have never raced.
