I am just getting into the folding bikes and am looking at two used ones for sale. One is the 2005 Dahon Speed 8 and the other is the 2006 Downtube IXNS or 9NS. They are both the same price, and each have racks and kickstands.

I am 6'2" tall and weigh 170 lbs, so I want the one that will fit a little bit taller fellow. What is the consensus on a better bargain or bike that will work better for me?

(Yes, I know that everyone says to test ride and see what works better. I rode both, and like them both. I have read something about people saying the Dahon's fall apart after awhile?)
