I own several zipp2001's so if I want to take any water along I must use the double cages attached to my seat. I usually carry only 1 bottle the other cage I put my bike bag with tube and stuff incase of a flat. I've never had a problem with it, the bottle doesn't hit my butt when I seat toward the back of my saddle if i'm climbing seated. I also don't have a problem reaching the bottles when I need a drink.
