The bargin road bike build challenge

Ok all, here's the challenge, build a road bike with 105 or ultgra or similar components for the least amount of money. It doesn't have to be fancy, just something that is better than most manufacturer's offer for a bike with similar level of parts. I'll start of with what I have going here on this challenge:

Scattante XLR frame
Performance carbon fork
Aztec brake and shift cables
Forte KMC chain
228.00

Ultegra brake calipers set 75.00

PBK carbon seat post 19:00

Sella italia seat 18.00

Shimano WH-500 Wheel set 89.00

Shimano 105 5600 crankset 79.00

Shimano ultegra front 10 speed derailleur 38.00

This is my list so far.
Why do this? for the fun of it, and also help beginners learn about bike mechanics. Remember this challenge is not about snob appeal, but rather about the joys of doing something yourself, and learning along the way.

Any takers on this? Parts can be sourced from anywhere, and use your best bargain skills to meet this challenge!
