I owned a 1990 Nishiki Ariel. It was the steel-cousin to the Alien. I loved that bike but stupidly gave it to my brother when I got my FS bike... biggest cycling mistake I've ever made. What I really lusted over (and still do) were the Mantis bikes (XCR, Flying V, Profloater and Screaming V) and the Nishiki AlienACX for obvious reasons.
