I have to agree that modern NASCAR operations are far from the days of building a car out in the barn. Many involved may still have a southern drawl, but voice inflection or birthplace have little to do with intelligence, education or ability. If you ever have the opportunity, tour a modern NASCAR shop. I’ll bet you would be impressed with the level of sophistication in the areas open to the public. Not to mention the closed areas that you won’t be allowed to see.

As for drivers / riders ... I think it's close between Moto GP - WRC and F1. Personally, WRC would be what I would most like to experience. Those guys are just nuts... flying through the trees at 130 mph on a gravel road.... yeahhhhh baby.
