take the time and go completely ocd with cleaning your bike/drivetrain every once and a while.
Last night detail cleaned everything on my drivetrain, overhauled both hubs and just for good measure gave the frame some loving from mothers polish (ti frame)
The drivetrain had ZERO dirt on it when i was done to get ready to test out a new chain lube (finishline pro road) and give it a fair comparison. The hubs had about 2000 miles since the last overhaul so they got some fresh grease compliments of phil wood and i cleaned out and lubed the freehub body on the rear.
It only took a total of maybe 3 hours to do not rushing at all and today riding to work the lightspeed felt smoother than she ever has since owning her.
Im sure your bike has been neglected too long like mine has so go give your baby some love, you wont regret it...the bike will feel new
