Unfortunately, the ride had rules in place concerning the use of earbuds. The rider who hit me had apparently put them in after the ride had started. I was passing him and had, I thought, made him aware of that fact by announcing "On Your Left". As I began to pass him, he moved to the left and clipped my wheel. The rest is history. The really sad part is that he stopped about 15 feet away from me then rode off before I could get up. The people who helped me up told me that he was wearing the earbuds. By the time I got moving again, he was long gone.

Not sure if I would recognize him again, but my wife might.


Oh well.........
