Come to think of it Michigan does have mountains. Theirs Boyne Mountain Ski resort, and Schuss Mountain ski resort. Both of which are on this route. So I guess I did ride the Mountains of Michigan.
Compared to the 'mountains' of Ontonagon or Marquette county, these are pretty small. But, the problem with the Porcupine Mountains, there are no roads. Pretty tough on us roadies. Lucky you. I know the area. Great cycling for sure.
