What's wrong with San Tomas? I <3 San Tomas, I often take it on the way home after I get off the San Tomas Aquino Path. Smooth enough of a road, wide shoulder, and I can usually keep up with traffic (since they're always stuck at lights!)
Where are you riding it? It's pretty zippy fast near 101...
