I am very lucky, i live in a house of whiskey snobs so we usually have some good stuff on hand. (that and a couple of them just came back from Ireland and brought back some from there as well)
Isla Vista, eh? I used to hitchhike the PCH to see the Dead and go to hippie gatherings and crap back in the early 90's. Stopped at Isla Vista numerous times to get some free breakfast at the red barn (was that what it was called?) up by Estero park, and crash near the beach in the county park or up near the hot springs in Gaviota state park. Definitely one of the most beautiful parts of the country.
