The PM is a great tool. That's about all there is to say about it. You can build a house perfectly with nothing but hand tools. You can do it faster and more repeatably with modern power tools.

The training changes I've made are solely responsible for my new-found success this year, but my PT facilitated the changes for me. I just wouldn't have made the same training changes without it.

I almost think that now that I'm nearing 1 year with a power meter, that I could do just as well, just as efficiently, without one, if I had to. Still if my power profile changes shape for some reason next year, I'll detect it in a timely manner, and alter training as needed that day.
