Can someone knowledgeable start a thread with the following info:

Different powermeters and their advantages. I've heard something about a steel axle, something about wireless dropping the signal (or maybe it doesn't), quarg, SRM -- what's a price I should be looking to pay for these (MSRP,sure, but I know many/most of you found them on ebay/CL).

If not, I'll try to compile the info, but note that I have no real-world experience with any of these
