I'm just getting into hammock camping. It has its pros and cons, but without going into detail I'd say the biggest advantage is how it opens up a lot of new camping opportunities in places you wouldn't setup a tent. I'll still use my tent for most trips, but the hammock is handy option you'll be glad to have.

...if you didn't get them the snake skins are a useful low cost accessory.
