I concur. I never go above 80 PSI with a straight-walled rim.

I also tend to inflate the front tire 5 to 10 PSI less than the rear, because of the load difference.

In setting pressure, one also has to consider the true width of the tires, not the published width, which can be 10% greater with some brands.
