I just got my candy SL's in the mail (my first ever clipless pedal, never ridden them before), and rushed to the LBS to try on some shoes (ended up buying some nice pearl izumi ones). So anyway 20 minutes later everything is installed and ready to go. I stand up in the living room and mess around for about 30 seconds seeing how they clip and unclip, then go outside and ride around the block a couple times.

Maybe it's just my particular pedals, but it's really easy to clip out. Not so easy that I think it could happen while riding, but still, the only way I could forsee anyone falling with them is if you came to a complete stop without unclipping, then were halfway through falling to the ground before you realized you should unclip. Even then I think it would be possible to catch yourself.

So what's the deal guys?
