So I've been on the endless search for the most reasonably priced entry level fixed gear and gone through all the forums reading forever and had a pretty good idea of what to do, until I came across the Schwinn Cutter. I know how broken Schwinn has become over the past decade and as a mountain biker, I've always laughed at Schwinn.
But I really think this bike has potential and no one has brought it up on the forums, so I was wondering what everyone thinks?

I called my LBS and was told that they don't carry many Schwinns in store (understandably), but I could have them order the Cutter for me the moment it is available (product manager isn't in the shop on weekends so the guy on the phone had no idea of availability). I read most of the 150-something page thread on the Mercier Kilo TT and figured that's basically what I wanted, but I think the Schwinn is so much hotter. And has removable decals (even though that doesn't seem like a big deal, it actually is).
$299 is a steal for a bike.
So, what's the expert opinion on the Cutter?
Should I go Cutter or Kilo?
Are there any obvious faults in the Cutter from the specs/pics given (aside from the awesome pedals)?
Thanks
