Life IS good. The weather's been almost ideal for riding-40's and 50's with little rainfall (although that may change this afternoon and tomorrow) and almost balmy mornings. I've permanently switched over to my CrossCheck as my dedicated commuter, installing fr and rr fenders, lights, and 700 x 35c kevlar lined touring tires. I've also been feeling the positive effects of carbing up slightly towards the end of the week. I've been on a fairly carb-restricted diet and noticed that I was struggling a little as Thursdays and Fridays neared. Now, I'll allow myself a pasta or pizza dinner starting on Wednesdays. As a result, my legs feel fresh all week and the rides are more enjoyable. As the holidays are approaching things have slowed down a little at work and I allow myself a little more time to enjoy my ride in the mornings. I'd like to ride through the winter but my persisitant groin sprain may prevent that. If so, I'll have to switch to something else to maintain my cardio.
