If you're replacing an existing set of wheels then you'll need to get some that are the same size as the previous ones so that they fit in the frame and the brake pads can reach the rim. If you are considering different frames, one that needs 650c wheels, and one that needs 700c wheels, then what are the other differences in frame geometry?
