First of all, I'm sure your handlebars are not set very aggressively.
The reason your back is getting sore is because you don't have hands low enough. THe reason you don't have your hands low enough is because your arms can't support yourself in the lower position. Those skinny arms are forcing you to take a higher position with resultant strain on your back.
LOL....You just called me an idiot, but by your own admission you have already proven (because of your back pain ) that your arms aren't strong enough.
