I feel like I lock up well enough for quick in and outs into a store or restaurant or whatever (usually mini u-lock through rear wheel and frame, pinhead skewer through front wheel), just that any assho1e with an allen key and a few seconds can jack those components that are not so easily locked, such as cranks or stems. True that no name components are less likely to get stolen, but I like the setup on my bike (except for the logos).
To the person who mentioned the rubbing alcohol trick, did you do this to remove the white logos from black cranks? Seems like it could also take the black off.
