Your Salsa could be labeled "Assembled in USA from Imported Components" and/or "Designed in USA". My Cannondale can (and does) have a "Made in USA" label on the frame, but Cannondale cannot claim that the bike is made in USA because of the many imported components.
Up to a year or so ago, nearly all Cannondales sported a "Made in the USA" sticker. But this is becoming increasing less common, as they are now outsourcing many of their frames. I doubt this trend will change under Pacific Cycle ownership.
