48 cm thigh to hip
I use a 175mm crank, came with the bike.

Ideally your 6 o'clock knee angle would be about 25 degrees, and your thigh just less than horizontal at 11 o'clock.

You can move the entire circle upwards, downwards, front or back, but the circle is still the same diameter. Even different for each leg, but the crank throw always remains the same. The cleat/pedal is always going to be facing the same direction within a few degrees.
