Clint, I cart my laptop back and forth in these and have been happy so far. Forget the "pod" they sell as a side item cause your laptop def. won't fit, but I use a sleeve from another backpack that works great. Let me know if you decide on 'em; I can give you early warning on a few minor issues with them. I love 'em for the work commute.

Oh, and for the main thread, 40 year old all weather male, except for lightning, I try to avoid that. 21 mile RT.
