I'm coming into the Perpetuem fold as well... Although I still like to have solid food like Clif bars and Platinum bars
How does the perpetuem digest? My problem w clif bars is that on a long day (100+ miles) they don't digest so completely, leading to, um, issues later. And I don't want to do 1000+ calories of gels.
So I end up using clif bars early, then gels late.
I think (am hoping) the liquid nutrition might digest completely leaving no, um, issues for later. So I can just keep a steady uptake of long chain carbs and protein lasting throughout the day.
