Bikes: '06 Kona Dawg Deluxe/'06 Cannondale F400(frame)/'98 Cannondale SuperV1000

1995 Cannondale F700(My former race bike)

Seat: Selle Italia Ti Flite
Seatpost: Synchros Hardcore
Handlebars: Synchros Hardcore w/Coda barends
Fork: HeadShok DD50
Skewers: Nashbar(front)/LX(rear)
Crankset/Chainrings/BB: XTR
F/R Derailleurs: XTR
Chain: Sachs
Cassette: XT
Tires: IRC Mythos XC
Wheelset: Mavic 220 rims w/Coda hub(front) and LX freehub(rear)
Pedals: SPD M545
Brakes: XTR V-brakes
Shifters: XTR shifter pods/brake levers

$1250 new, but there’s no tellin’ how much I’ve put into it so far. I was thinkin’ about it the other day and the only parts(other than frame/fork) original to this bike are the QR on the seattube, the wheelset and the rear skewer. Came with Coda cranks and Onza pedals when I bought it in ‘96(anyone remember those?), but I wore out the elastomer fairly quickly. Even the spring and elastomer’s been replaced in the HeadShok since I’m a little hefty(5’9” @ 205—I weighed a little less when I raced:~180 or so). Changed out everything but the HeadShok internals myself. This bike also came with Coda cantilever brakes when new-I am so glad I don’t have to deal with those anymore….

1998 Cannondale SuperV1000(Supposed DH bike, really XC)

Seat: Selle Italia XO
Seatpost: Stock
Handlebars: Yeti 2-4 tapered risers
Fork: HeadShok DD60
Rear Shock: Fox Alps 5 R
Skewers: Ringle
Crankset/Chainring/BB: Coda one-piece(stock)
F/R Derailleurs: LX/XT
Chain: Sachs
Cassette: LX
Tires: Specialized Fear Control/Master
Wheelset: Spinergy SPOX
Pedals: SPD M636
Brakes: XTR V-brakes
Shifters: XTR shifter pods/brake levers

Got this bike used from a guy at the LBS in ’99 or so($800). Didn’t really need it, but it’s fun to bomb a little bit on the trails and it’s really nice having a backup bike to ride. Originally bought the SPOX, tires and skewers for the F700, but I threw ‘em on here when I got it and haven’t bothered to swap ‘em back.

1994 Chevrolet CavalierPOS

My bike transporter/commuter car: Bought this hunk new in ’94 and it’s still goin’ strong. Great gas mileage(it’s a manual) and it’s paid for! Ripped out all but the driver’s seat to make room for bikes/bike stuff cuz my wife refuses to drive it or even ride in it. I’d like to ride to work, but there are no shoulders on the roads around my house and drivers are just too much to deal with—esp. at night.
