Actually, the only way to figure out how to ride in the winter is to put on warm clothes, ride, freeze, try something else, ride, freeze, try again, stay sorta warm, and do that for every part of your anatomy (and I mean EVERY part of your anatomy boys) until you have it figured out. It's easy. It only took me about 6,000 road miles over two full winters. Hint: if you use an iPod you're cold but you care less. Until the iPod freezes. Which I have also experienced. It was 13ºF that day.
