Bikes: '06 Kona Smoke

So much for my second bike...

I had my wife half-way convinced that I needed another bike. One to do rec/errand rides in our small town, then another one to be used while in the larger town through the week (work/school).

But then she caught wind of the local transit systems "Rack-N-Roll" program. Bus riders can check out (for free) a bike for 24 hrs. The bikes are some truly FUGLY Giant Simple's w/coaster brake. No racks or bottle cages. Not exactly my thing, but:

1. Free is free.
2. Tulsa Transit is not responsible for damage done to bikes while on the bus racks. So that means I would be putting one of their bikes in harm's way, and not of mine.

What do you think? Ride something that I like and fits, or save a little coin by using one this free rentals?
