That first day back in car seat... ooof!

I've been commuting by bicycle as much as possible this year, usually 3 to 4 days a week. Over the past eleven work days, I biked each day... it was great. I also got in a road bike ride last Sunday.

So, this morning, knowing I have a heavy package to bring back from work. Knowing I have to purchase all kinds of stuff at the hardware store and a visit to the pet store. Basic good reason for driving today.

I found it soooo frustrating to drive to work in a car this morning.... go-stop-go-stop-wait-near miss at intersection. I ended up getting to work a few minutes late because of traffic. It's not like I've forgotten how to commute by car... it's just that cycling feels like a smooth continuous motion to work. The car feels like so much of the commute time is sitting still. Now I will really enjoy that bike ride to work tomorrow.

This was just a rant-observation thing.
